ZoomArt got its start in Florence, and Florence, as we well know, is a city of art par excellence, visited each year by 9 million tourists.
Tourists lined up under the hot sun in front of the Uffizi Gallery or queued for a glimpse of Michelangelo’s David, a city icon. The marvels of the Renaissance, generously displayed to the hurried glance of the tourist on a tight schedule.

 My walk in Florence starts by passing through Porta Romana, the city’s finest and most triumphal gate for those who came (and come) from Rome. I pause to look at the texture of the ancient wood of the huge, newly-restored door. I think of all the stories that have passed through this door, hoping to find shelter, money, luck, within these doors…

 Palomar presented the new ZoomArt in the “MAISON&OBJET Musées” fair held in Paris (Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte) from 25th – 27th January 2008. On this occasion visitors had the opportunity to try the new ZoomArt on a reproduction of "Adorazione dei Magi " by Gentile da Fabriano, considered his finest work.
